Lures LI Flies Half & Half Clouser Variant Flies

Tied by Mike “LI Flies” Ozkaya, right here on Long Island, NY. This is a variant of the classic Clouser Minnow. It is basically a Clouser, with a saddle hackle tail tied in to give the fly a little bit of extra length and profile. Works well for striped bass, bluefish, redfish, snook, and many other species. These flies feature weighted dumbell eyes, to help get the fly down a little deeper in the water column, and they are tied on a jig hook.
